Institute of History
The Institute of History of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is a scientific-pedagogical workplace. The Institute guarantees the preparation of students in 5-year master study programme of History and 3-year bachelor study programme of Cultural History; the graduates can continue in the continuing 2-year master study programme of History. In addition to that, the Institute, in cooperation with the Faculty of Paedagogy, participates in preparation of students of the master study programmes of History Teaching and Latin Language Teaching for primary and secondary schools. The Institute of History also offers postgradual doctoral study programme in Czech history and conducts the habilitation and appointment procedures. In scholarly work, the Institufocuses on systematic, long-term and comprehensive research in history of the early modern society. | |
